Dulcinea was orphaned at birth when her 13 year old Danish bred dam Oxenholm Dulcinea died soon after foaling. Dulcinea was bottle fed for a few days and then was adopted by a TB foster mother who loved her like her own foal. A happy outcome for Dulcinea junior

Dulcinea was shown successfully and has produced many lovely foals including a daughter who was exported to the USA and a stallion son and two stallion prospects.
